Yippee - I have created this blog

Naive to the point of stupid - that was me when I claimed that I would start a parenting blog as soon as the baby was born. Adi is seven weeks old today and I am just about surfacing from a pile of dirty diapers and spit-up laden napkins. I really have no idea what about the same makes me so terribly happy. Must be the hormones.

Alright - now I have not had too much to think about this but top of my head I know that there are a few things that I need to sort out. Let me make a list:

1. I am not going to be able to be terribly regular with this blog. My baby is young and unpredictable. And thats perfectly alright.
2. I dont want this blog to become a daily diary of the number of times Adi peed or pooed (though of course, some detail is inevitable so if you are squeamish - this is your cue for an exit.)
3. I will try to record all milestones (his first social smile was at 45 days) so that when he grows up, his remarkably absent-minded mother is not caught on the wrong foot.
4. I will post pictures whenever I can to keep this visually appealing.
5. I intend to have fun out here!
